Download QlipQ

QlipQ is a native desktop app for Windows and Linux (Windows-first) built with Rust and iced. Build it from source, or grab a prebuilt build from the releases page when one is available.

Windows · Linux

Build the desktop app from source with Cargo — see the getting started guide.

Releases

No FFmpeg install needed. QlipQ decodes, previews, and exports in process using a bundled build of FFmpeg's libraries (libav) — the download ships with everything it needs, so there's nothing extra to put on your PATH.

Prefer to build from source? See the getting started guide.

QlipQRenamer for OBS

Automatically sort recordings, saved replays, and screenshots into per-game folders, with optional game-title prefixes for filenames. This companion script runs inside OBS and works without the QlipQ desktop app.

Requires OBS 28 or newer on Windows, macOS, or Linux. Uses OBS's bundled Lua runtime, so no Python install is needed. Sorting and renaming need no additional software; the optional metadata tagging feature requires a separate FFmpeg install.

Download QlipQRenamer (.lua)

In OBS, open Tools → Scripts, click +, and select qlipq-renamer.lua. See the installation and settings guide for the full setup.
